Momentive RTV157 is a high-strength, one-component silicone rubber adhesive sealant ready for immediate use. This paste-like sealant cures at room temperature upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, transforming into a tough, resilient silicone rubber. Ideal for applications requiring excellent weatherability, ozone, and chemical resistance, RTV157 offers superior electrical insulation properties and performs effectively across a wide temperature range, maintaining flexibility even at low temperatures. Its general primerless adhesion simplifies application to various surfaces, making it a versatile solution for diverse bonding needs. While suitable for horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces, its moisture cure system necessitates application in thicknesses no greater than 6mm (1/4 inch). For thicker sections, consider Momentive's addition cure or two-component silicone rubber compounds. Important Note: This product is not intended for permanent implantation into the human body.
