MOLYKOTE High Vacuum Grease
MOLYKOTE High Vacuum Grease is a stiff, non-melting silicone lubricating grease for plastic-to-metal and rubber-to-metal contacts, offering excellent chemical and temperature resistance and FDA compliance. MOLYKOTE High-Vacuum Grease is a silicone-based lubricating grease formulated to minimize wear in applications involving plastic-to-metal and rubber-to-metal interfaces. Its unique formulation provides exceptional resistance to a wide range of chemicals, as well as both high and low temperatures, meeting the requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR 175.300. Importantly, this grease is free from intentionally added polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
This versatile grease is suitable for sealing and lubricating various types of equipment, including those used in chemical processing, vacuum and pressure systems, and optical instruments. Its compatibility with a variety of materials and its resistance to harsh environments make it ideal for demanding applications. The grease's solubility characteristics should be considered before use; while insoluble in many common solvents, it is dispersible in others, so testing is recommended prior to regular application. For optimal performance, it's important to store the grease below 30 C in its original, unopened container. A shelf life of 60 months from the manufacturing date can be expected under these storage conditions.
