MOLYKOTE MI-60 (USA) Grease is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil/lithium soap grease designed for the long-term lubrication of mechanical components in machinery and automotive applications. Its formulation includes specially formulated solid lubricants, enabling operation across a broad service temperature range, from -50 C to 150 C (-58 to 302 F). This grease is compatible with a variety of plastics, including polyacetal, polyamide, PS foam, and nylon, making it suitable for a range of applications where such materials are present.
The grease's low coefficient of friction and high load-carrying capacity contribute to efficient and reliable operation. Application is straightforward, utilizing standard methods such as brush, grease gun, or automated dispensing systems onto clean, dry surfaces. The product is available in 16 kg (35.2 lb) pails and 180 kg (397 lb) drums and has a 36-month shelf life from the date of manufacture.
