MOLYKOTE L-1246FM is a synthetic compressor oil engineered to surpass the performance of many original equipment manufacturer (OEM) oils. It's suitable for a wide range of rotary and reciprocating equipment, including screw, vane, centrifugal, and piston compressors, as well as vacuum pumps and blowers. The product is designed for maximized equipment and lubricant lifespan, and MOLYKOTE supports oil analysis programs to ensure correct product selection and ongoing performance monitoring.
Regular oil analysis is recommended to track lubricant aging and additive depletion, and to detect potential contamination that might shorten oil life. This PAG-based lubricant is not compatible with mineral oil or PAO-based lubricants; mixing is strictly prohibited. MOLYKOTE L-1246FM has a 60-month shelf life from the date of manufacture and is available in various standard container sizes.
