MOLYKOTE HP-500 Grease
MOLYKOTE HP-500 Grease is a high-performance perfluoropolyether (PFPE) grease for extreme conditions and plastic-on-plastic applications. MOLYKOTE HP-500 Grease is a perfluoropolyether (PFPE)-based lubricating grease enhanced with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for exceptional wear reduction in plastic-on-plastic applications. Its fully fluorinated composition ensures outstanding performance in extreme environments, exhibiting excellent high-temperature stability and superior resistance to a wide range of chemicals and solvents. The grease's low vapor pressure base oil minimizes deterioration from oxidation, making it ideal for long-term lubrication.
Application is straightforward, involving cleaning the target area and applying the grease using a brush, spatula, or automated lubrication system. Its suitability extends to demanding conditions, including high temperatures, corrosive environments, exposure to solvents and liquefied natural gases, and high vacuum applications. Furthermore, its low vapor pressure makes it suitable for cleanroom and semiconductor manufacturing equipment where lubricant vaporization is a critical concern.
