Aircraft MRO Supplies

Aircraft MRO Supplies

New, fully certified, and traceable MRO consumables for airlines, repair stations, manufacturers, military, and private owners. Most in-stock orders ship the same day.

Aircraft undergoing MRO maintenance service inside a hangar

Aircraft MRO supplies are consumables used in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft: paints and primers, adhesives and sealants, chemicals and hazmat, fasteners, tapes, wipes, and other shop supplies. Jaco Aerospace stocks them new, fully certified, and traceable for airlines, repair stations, manufacturers, military, and private owners.

Order in-stock items by 3 p.m. Eastern, and most will ship the same day. If you send us an RFQ, we'll get back to you within 2 hours. For over 50 years (since 1971), customers have come to us for the day-to-day materials that keep hangars, line stations, and back shops running.

What Happens When MRO Supplies Run Out?

If you've got the access panel off the wing fuel tank, the seam cleaned and ready, and you pick up the last tube of sealant in the crib (and that tube expired last month), that panel isn't going back on today, and the aircraft isn't going back into service.

Smaller gaps take time too. A tech can go through an entire stack of wipes on one panel before the sealant is even applied. Nobody looks at the box until it's empty. Then a heavy check turns up corrosion right underneath a floor panel, and the crew burns through primer and corrosion inhibitor they didn't plan for.

Aircraft MRO Supply Categories

Jaco stocks its MRO materials in eight categories: paints and coatings, adhesives and sealants, chemicals, hazmat, fasteners, tapes, aircraft wipes and cleaning supplies, and packaging and shop supplies. The sections below outline what each category includes and where it fits in the job, so you can source the entire job from one supplier.

Aircraft Paints, Adhesives, and Sealants

Paints and coatings protect the airframe from corrosion and carry the operator's livery. MROs use our full range of primers, topcoats, and specialty coatings for panel repair, touch-ups after component replacement, and full aircraft repaints. If you have a particular product or specification in mind, send it over, and we'll quote it.

Sealants keep fuel in the tanks and moisture out of the seams and fastener rows. Structural adhesives bond panels, honeycomb, and composite parts. We carry fuel tank sealants, windshield and window sealants, and general-purpose sealants.

Aircraft Maintenance Chemicals and Hazmat Shipping

Aircraft maintenance relies heavily on chemicals: cleaners and degreasers to strip oil, grease, and dirt; solvents to prepare surfaces for paint and sealant; corrosion inhibitors to protect the underlying metal; and lubricants to keep landing gear, flight controls, and hinges moving freely.

Many of these products are hazardous. Shipping them requires proper classification, packaging, labeling, and paperwork, and that alone slows many suppliers down. Jaco ships hazmat with the correct documentation and packaging so it arrives at your facility in full compliance with shipping regulations, ready to receive.

Aerospace Fasteners and Hardware

A sheet metal repair can easily get bogged down over a short count of just one rivet size. We carry rivets, bolts, screws, nuts, washers, and a wide range of specialty aerospace fasteners. Give us the part number or the specification it's made to (AMS, BMS, etc.), and we'll check our stock and quote it.

Aircraft Tapes, Wipes, and Shop Consumables

Nobody thinks about masking paper until the paint crew is ready to go and the roll on the cart is down to its cardboard core. Then the crew waits while someone finds a new one. Shrink wrap, poly bags, work order envelopes, and barrier material all run out the same way, inevitably at the most inconvenient time.

We also carry the tapes and wipes used on nearly every job: masking tape, aluminum foil tape, speed tape, and Teflon tape, plus low-lint and pre-saturated wipes for surface prep and general shop use. Having them on site is cheap insurance against a job coming to a standstill.

Standing Orders and Stocking Programs for MRO Shops

Many shops rely on someone noticing a bin is low before the wipes get reordered. Standing orders remove that step. Provide us with your usage history, and we'll ship your regular items on a set schedule. For high-volume items, we can also keep stock for your account, so we ship orders from our shelf rather than waiting on the manufacturer.

AOG Support for Aircraft on the Ground

If an aircraft is on the ground (AOG) awaiting a part, let us know when you contact us. That request takes priority over any normal order. For hard-to-find parts, we can frequently have them delivered by the following morning.

For anything outside our normal supply, we can quickly source it through our long-standing relationships with internationally recognized manufacturers. That network gives your maintenance team a quick answer and a clear delivery date, so they can plan the return to service with confidence.

Airlines, MROs, and Operators We Supply

Jaco Aerospace supplies MRO materials to a broad range of aviation customers:

  • Commercial airlines and regional carriers
  • Independent MROs and repair stations
  • Aircraft and component manufacturers
  • Drone and unmanned aircraft manufacturers
  • Military operators and government agencies
  • Charter and corporate flight departments
  • Industrial operations and fleet managers
  • Private aircraft owners

Orders can be as small as a single case or as large as many pallets, and we give them all the same attention and fast turnaround.

MRO Supply Quality and Certification

Jaco Aerospace only sells new, non-surplus materials. Orders ship with a Certificate of Conformance (CoC), the manufacturer's certifications, and traceability records. Your receiving inspector checks the CoC and associated documentation against the purchase order, and that paperwork becomes part of the file for your next quality audit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between MRO consumables and rotable parts?

Consumables are items you use up during maintenance and replace rather than repair (sealants, adhesives, chemicals, fasteners, tapes, wipes). Rotable parts are components that are removed, repaired or overhauled, and returned to service.

How do I find a replacement for a discontinued MRO material?

Start with the manufacturer's supersession, since many discontinued items have a direct replacement part number. Before you use it, check that replacement against your maintenance manual, process specification, or the specification's qualified products list. Send us the old part number or specification, and we'll check what's currently available.

Do aircraft sealants and adhesives need special storage?

Many do. Some premixed sealants ship frozen and must be stored at subzero temperatures until use, and many adhesives require refrigeration. Storing them warm will shorten their shelf life or make the batch unusable. Always check the manufacturer's storage requirements, and move any temperature-sensitive material you receive straight into the correct storage.
