MOLYKOTE 3452 is a fluorosilicone grease engineered for superior resistance to a wide range of chemicals. Its formulation ensures compatibility with various gaskets, seals, and packings, providing long-lasting lubrication even when exposed to water, fuels, oils, and solvents. This makes it ideal for valve applications in harsh environments where maintaining lubrication is critical for performance and longevity.
Application is straightforward using conventional methods such as brushes, grease guns, or automatic applicators. The grease maintains its lubricating properties within a serviceable temperature range of -20 to 450 F (-29 to 232 C). MOLYKOTE 3452 demonstrates resistance to deterioration from solvents, acids, chlorides, and other aggressive chemicals, as well as low-pressure steam and condensate. While minimal oil separation may occur during storage (below 90 F/32 C), this does not impact its lubricating capabilities; simply stir before use. The product offers a 60-month shelf life from the manufacturing date.
