MOLYKOTE P-1900 FM Paste Spray
MOLYKOTE P-1900 FM Paste Spray is a light-colored grease-paste spray designed for lubricating mechanical components in food and beverage processing equipment. It contains solid lubricants and is formulated without intentional PTFE or PFAS, meeting NSF H1 regulations for incidental food contact. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications where food safety is paramount, including threads, fasteners, and injection-molding pins.
The spray is effective on sliding surfaces and friction contacts under heavy loads, particularly at low to medium speeds. Its synergistic blend of solid lubricants provides a low coefficient of friction and a broad service temperature range from -30 C to +300 C after propellant/solvent evaporation. Application is straightforward: clean contact points, shake the can well, and spray precisely onto the lubrication points, allowing at least 15 minutes for curing before operation. Avoid spraying on hot surfaces.
Provides controlled friction during assembly and simple release of threaded connections after long period times.
