MOLYKOTE Z Powder is a dry lubricant designed for exceptional performance in demanding applications. Its formulation excels in lubricating metal-to-metal interfaces under heavy loads and slow speeds, as well as metal-to-plastic contacts at low to moderate speeds. The powder's effectiveness is maintained even in dusty environments or across a wide temperature range.
Application is straightforward, involving thorough rubbing onto degreased, dry surfaces using tools such as brushes, leather, or polishing disks. Alternatively, tumble coating is suitable for smaller components, while the powder can also be incorporated into plastic elastomers and sintered metals prior to forming. Its lubricating action reduces friction and wear, resists oxidation, and provides extreme pressure resistance.
