MOLYKOTE G-807 Low Friction Silicone Compound is a soft silicone grease with solid lubricants for low-friction lubrication in plastic/metal and metal/rubber electromechanical applications. MOLYKOTE G-807 Low Friction Silicone Compound is a soft silicone-based grease enhanced with specially formulated solid lubricants. This design makes it particularly well-suited for lubricating interfaces between plastic and metal, or metal and rubber components, in electromechanical systems such as automotive ball joints and brake caliper pins. Its formulation provides a balance of low friction, broad temperature tolerance, compatibility with a variety of plastics and rubbers, and good corrosion resistance.
Application is straightforward, utilizing standard grease application methods including brush, grease gun, or automated dispensing equipment. The compound exhibits a wide usable temperature range, from -40 C to 150 C (-40 F to 302 F), and demonstrates minimal bleed (maximum 0.5%) and evaporation (maximum 1.0%).
