MOLYKOTE HSC Plus Paste
MOLYKOTE HSC Plus Paste is a lead- and nickel-free solid lubricant designed for metal-to-metal interfaces experiencing high temperatures and significant friction. Its formulation allows for the nondestructive dismantling of components even after prolonged use at temperatures ranging from -30 C (-22 F) to 1,100 C (2,012 F). The paste ensures consistent pre-stressing forces in bolted joints by maintaining a defined coefficient of friction, and it offers added benefits of corrosion protection and electrical conductivity.
Application is straightforward: clean the surfaces with a wire brush before applying an appropriate amount of paste to the contact areas. For optimal performance, avoid mixing the paste with greases or oils. A spray can application is recommended for larger areas, providing faster and cleaner coverage. The paste's composition includes mineral oil, thickening agents, and solid lubricants, contributing to its exceptional high-temperature performance and load-carrying capacity.
A mineral-oil-based anti-seize paste formulated with solid lubricants such as copper, molybdenum disulfide, and white solids. Can be used over a wide range of temperatures (-30 C/-22 F to 1,100 C/2,012 F). Enables nondestructive dismantling, even after long use at high temperatures. High load-carrying capacity. Due to stated coefficient of friction, defined pre-stressing forces for bolted joints can be achieved. Good corrosion protection. Good electrical conductivity.
