MOLYKOTE 41 Extreme High Temperature Grease
MOLYKOTE 41 Extreme High Temperature Grease is a silicone-based grease designed for high-temperature applications exceeding the capabilities of standard silicone greases, offering superior thermal and oxidation resistance. MOLYKOTE 41 Extreme High Temperature Bearing Grease is a specialized silicone grease formulated to withstand extreme heat. Unlike many other greases, it maintains its integrity at temperatures far beyond the operational limits of conventional silicone greases, exhibiting exceptional thermal and oxidation resistance. Its formulation is free of PTFE and PFAS, and incorporates silicone oil, carbon black, and a corrosion inhibitor for enhanced performance and longevity. Application is straightforward, using standard methods such as brushes, spatulas, or automated lubrication systems, after cleaning the application points.
The grease provides effective lubrication within a service temperature range of -20 C to 290 C. With a shelf life of 60 months when stored unopened in a cool, dark location, this product offers reliable performance and extended usability. Note that this grease is not suitable for painted surfaces or steel bearings under high loads.
