MOLYKOTE Longterm 2 Plus Extreme Pressure Bearing Grease
MOLYKOTE Longterm 2 Plus Extreme Pressure Bearing Grease is designed for long-term lubrication under extreme pressure conditions. This grease is formulated to provide superior wear protection, especially in mixed friction environments, utilizing solid lubricants and EP additives. It also offers exceptional adhesion and robust corrosion protection, making it suitable for a variety of demanding applications.
This grease is a mineral oil-based lubricant with a viscosity of 265 at 40 C, thickened with lithium and fortified with MoS2 and graphite solid lubricants. It is an NLGI Grade 2 grease, offering a wide operating temperature range from -25 C to 110 C. This composition ensures high load-carrying capacity, effective fretting protection, and resistance to wear, making it ideal for heavily loaded components. Notably, this formulation contains no intentional PTFE or PFAS.
MOLYKOTE Longterm 2 Plus is widely used for bearings, spline profiles, and clutches in high-stress environments such as motor vehicles, tractors, cranes, earth-moving machines, conveyor belts, and forklift trucks. Its effectiveness is proven in scenarios where there's a risk of fretting corrosion, groove formation (Brinell effect), or moisture exposure. Its high tack and adhesion also ensure it stays in place under demanding conditions.
