MOLYKOTE P-3700 Anti-seize Paste
MOLYKOTE P-3700 Anti-Seize Paste is a high-purity solid lubricant paste formulated for use in bolted joints. Specifically designed for high-temperature applications up to 900 C, it contains no intentionally added calcium, lead, nickel, sulfur, chlorine, or fluorine. This ensures controlled friction during assembly, leading to precise tensioning and facilitating easy removal of screws even after extended periods at high temperatures. The paste is particularly well-suited for alloys with high chromium content and stainless steel.
Application involves cleaning and degreasing the area, removing any rust or sludge with a wire brush, and then thoroughly applying the paste to the screws. It's crucial to avoid mixing this paste with other lubricants. The paste's formulation, utilizing a mineral oil base and special solid lubricants, delivers a 4-ball weld load of 3000 N and a 4-ball wear scar of 1.0 mm under a 400 N load. Its operational temperature range spans from -30 C to +900 C.
