MOLYKOTE High Vacuum Grease
MOLYKOTE High Vacuum Grease is a stiff, non-melting silicone lubricating grease for plastic-to-metal and rubber-to-metal contacts, offering excellent chemical and temperature resistance and FDA compliance. MOLYKOTE High-Vacuum Grease is a silicone-based lubricating grease formulated to reduce wear in applications involving plastic-to-metal and rubber-to-metal contacts. Its exceptional resistance to water, chemicals, and extreme temperatures makes it suitable for demanding environments. Importantly, this grease is free of intentionally added PTFE and PFAS, meeting the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.300.
This product effectively seals and lubricates various components in chemical processing equipment, including valves and flow meter bearings. Applications extend to high-temperature uses such as fire extinguisher valves and synthetic rubber seals, as well as vacuum and pressure systems. Its ability to prevent fogging makes it ideal for lubricating O-rings in optical instruments like binoculars and telescopes. The grease exhibits limited solubility in common solvents but is dispersible in others; a test prior to full implementation is recommended. With proper storage, it maintains usability for 60 months.
