MOLYKOTE BG-20 Synthetic Bearing Grease
MOLYKOTE BG-20 Synthetic Bearing Grease is a high-performance lithium-complex grease for metal/metal bearings under rapid movement and medium to heavy loads. MOLYKOTE BG-20 is a NLGI 2-3 synthetic bearing grease formulated with a lithium-complex thickener and a polyolester base. This combination provides exceptional performance in high-speed bearings across a wide temperature range, offering high load-carrying capacity without the use of lead or nickel. Its application is straightforward, using standard methods such as brush, spatula, grease gun, or automated lubrication systems, including central lubrication systems.
The grease's effectiveness stems from its low oil evaporation and resistance to oxidation, ensuring long-term lubrication. It maintains performance across a broad service temperature range of -45 C to 180 C, with short-term capability extending to 200 C. Furthermore, it is suitable for very high rotational speeds (DN value 750,000) and exhibits a drop point exceeding 295 C.
