MOLYKOTE 41 Extreme High Temperature Grease
MOLYKOTE 41 Extreme High Temperature Bearing Grease is a specialized silicone-based lubricant designed to withstand exceptionally high temperatures exceeding the capabilities of standard silicone greases. Its formulation, free of PTFE and PFAS, provides superior thermal and oxidation resistance, along with inherent water resistance. The grease is composed of silicone oil, carbon black for enhanced performance, and a corrosion inhibitor for extended component life.
Application is straightforward, using standard methods for lubricating greases such as brushes, spatulas, or automated lubrication systems. Prior cleaning of the application points is recommended. While effective in a wide range of extreme temperature environments, it's important to avoid using this grease on painted surfaces and steel bearings operating under high loads. The product maintains its effectiveness for 60 months when stored unopened in a cool, dark place.
