MOLYKOTE BG-20 Synthetic Bearing Grease
MOLYKOTE BG-20 Synthetic Bearing Grease is a high-performance lithium-complex grease for metal/metal bearing applications demanding high speeds and heavy loads. MOLYKOTE BG-20 is a NLGI 2-3 synthetic bearing grease formulated with a lithium-complex thickener and polyolester base oil. This combination provides exceptional performance in metal-to-metal contacts experiencing rapid movement and medium to heavy loads. Its lead- and nickel-free composition ensures compatibility with a wide range of bearing types and operating conditions.
Application is straightforward, using standard methods such as brush, spatula, grease gun, or automated lubrication systems, including centralized lubrication. The grease offers excellent long-term lubrication properties due to its low oil evaporation rate and resistance to oxidation. It exhibits a wide operating temperature range of -45 C to 180 C, with short-term capabilities extending to 200 C. The grease also accommodates very high rotational speeds (DN value 750,000).
Product Key Properties: NLGI Grade 2 - POE-based grease with a base oil viscosity of 55 cSt at 40 C, lithium-complex-thickened, with no solid lubricants.
