MOLYKOTE BG-20 Synthetic Bearing Grease
MOLYKOTE BG-20 Synthetic Bearing Grease is a high-performance lithium-complex grease for metal/metal bearing applications demanding high speeds, heavy loads, and wide temperature ranges. MOLYKOTE BG-20 is a NLGI 2-3 synthetic bearing grease formulated with a lithium-complex thickener and a polyolester base. This combination provides exceptional performance in metal-to-metal contact situations experiencing rapid movement and medium to heavy loads. Its lead- and nickel-free composition ensures compatibility with a wide array of bearing types and operating conditions.
Application is straightforward, using standard methods such as brush, spatula, grease gun, or automatic lubricating systems, including central lubrication systems. The grease offers extended lubrication intervals due to its low oil evaporation rate and inherent resistance to oxidation. It maintains effectiveness across a broad service temperature range, from -45 C to 180 C, with short-term capability up to 200 C, and is suitable for very high rotational speeds (DN value 750,000).
