MOLYKOTE U Paste
MOLYKOTE U Paste is a high-performance solid lubricant paste formulated for demanding high-temperature applications. Its composition includes a polyalkylene glycol base oil and over 60% high-quality molybdenum disulfide, thickened with lithium soap, providing exceptional load-carrying capacity. This unique formulation ensures compatibility with most natural and synthetic rubbers, offering versatility across a range of applications.
The paste effectively reduces friction, prevents seizing and galling, and significantly extends the operational life of components subjected to high temperatures and pressures. Its lubricating properties are particularly beneficial for O-rings, compressor and pump packings and shafts, preventing scoring and overheating. Application is straightforward, using methods such as burnishing with a cloth or deerskin, or painting with a brush. If separation of solids and oil occurs during storage, thorough stirring is recommended before use.
