MOLYKOTE G-1041 Grease is a high-performance synthetic lubricant designed for use in a variety of applications involving plastic and metal components. Its formulation ensures compatibility with most plastics while delivering exceptional low-temperature performance, operating effectively from -75 F to 265 F (-60 C to 130 C). The grease exhibits low evaporation rates and provides good wear and load-carrying properties, making it suitable for use with yellow metals.
This versatile grease is well-suited for lubricating gears and actuators in plastic-plastic, plastic-metal, and metal-metal applications experiencing low to medium loads. Its applications extend to bearings and various other industrial uses. Application is straightforward, requiring only cleaning of the lubrication point before applying the grease using a brush, spatula, or automated dispensing equipment. The grease maintains its usability for 36 months when stored in its original, unopened container.
