MOLYKOTE PG-21 Plastislip Grease
MOLYKOTE PG-21 Plastislip Grease is a high-performance silicone grease specifically formulated for the lubrication of plastic components. This white-colored grease provides excellent compatibility with a wide range of plastics and elastomers, ensuring smooth and reliable operation while preventing degradation or damage to sensitive materials. It excels in applications requiring long-lasting lubrication and protection across a broad temperature spectrum.
This grease utilizes silicone oil with a viscosity of 200 cSt at 40 C and a lithium complex thickener, resulting in an NLGI Grade 2 consistency. It's engineered to perform reliably in temperatures ranging from -50 C (-58 F) to 190 C (374 F), demonstrating exceptional thermal stability. The formulation is free from intentional polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). It exhibits high water resistance and offers outstanding corrosion protection to enhance the lifespan of lubricated parts. Suitable for friction contacts with low to medium loadings and speeds that have to remain serviceable through a wide temperature range.
Used on control cables, water pumps, bearing bushes, gearwheels, slideways and other plastic parts in domestic appliances, toys and electrical appliances.
