MOLYKOTE Z Powder
MOLYKOTE Z Powder is a dry lubricant designed for exceptional performance in demanding applications. It effectively lubricates metal-to-metal interfaces under extreme loads and slow speeds, as well as metal-to-plastic pairings at low to medium speeds. Its robust formulation allows for reliable operation in dusty environments and across a wide temperature range. Application is straightforward, involving thorough rubbing onto clean, dry surfaces using various methods such as brushes, felt, or polishing disks, depending on the application scale. For small parts, tumble coating is recommended.
The powder's effectiveness stems from its excellent lubricating properties, which minimize friction and wear while exhibiting significant resistance to oxidation. This translates to reduced component wear and extended operational lifespan, even under extreme pressure. It can be incorporated into plastic elastomers and sintered metals prior to forming, providing inherent lubrication to the finished parts.
