MOLYKOTE Food Machinery Oil Spray is a versatile aerosol lubricant specifically formulated for mechanical components in the food and beverage industry. This easy-to-apply spray provides excellent penetration and superior corrosion protection, ensuring extended equipment lifespan. Its formulation meets stringent safety standards, complying with FDA Regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 and USDA H1 classifications for incidental food contact, guaranteeing safe use in food processing environments.
The odorless and tasteless spray contains no intentional PTFE or PFAS, and consists of mineral oil, a corrosion inhibitor, an EP/AW additive, and a propellant. The product's performance characteristics include a viscosity of 96 mm /s at 40 C and 11 mm /s at 100 C, a viscosity index of 102, a service temperature range of -10 C to +120 C, and a pour point below -10 C. Rigorous testing demonstrates its high load-carrying capacity (0.5 mm wear scar under 40 kg load and 1200 rpm) and excellent corrosion resistance (passing ASTM D665).
