MOLYKOTE EM-50L Grease
MOLYKOTE EM-50L Grease is a specialized lubricant formulated for applications involving plastic components. Its unique composition ensures compatibility with most plastics, effectively mitigating noise generation in plastic gears and contributing to extended operational lifespan. The grease's low seepage characteristic is particularly advantageous in applications demanding high cleanliness. Importantly, the product is free from silicone, PTFE, and PFAS, mitigating potential contact point failures.
This lubricating grease consists of polyalphaolefin and lithium soap, providing a robust and reliable lubrication solution. Application is straightforward, involving cleaning the target area and subsequent application using a brush, spatula, or automated lubrication system. The grease exhibits a base oil viscosity of 1,050 mm /s at 40 C and a drop point of 195 C, ensuring effective performance across a wide service temperature range of -40 C to 150 C.
Good plastic & rubber compatibility. Low noise. Low temperature performance. No intentional polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
