MOLYKOTE G-Rapid Plus Paste
MOLYKOTE G-Rapid Plus Paste is a solid lubricant designed to reduce friction and wear during the assembly and running-in of metallic components. Its low friction coefficient prevents seizure and scoring, suppresses stick-slip, and mitigates fretting corrosion. This PTFE- and PFAS-free paste facilitates both assembly and subsequent disassembly, offering excellent coverage and emergency running capabilities.
Suitable for a wide range of applications, this paste excels in press-fit production of machine elements and serves as a running-in lubricant for new machinery and gears. It also provides permanent lubrication for components experiencing slight or intermittent movement, and finds utility in various machining processes including drilling, sawing, and thread cutting. Application is straightforward, involving cleaning surfaces prior to applying the paste with a suitable tool, avoiding excessive use and mixing with other lubricants. A spray version is available for larger surface areas. The paste offers a wide operating temperature range.
