MOLYKOTE 4 Electrical Insulating Compound
MOLYKOTE 4 Electrical Insulating Compound is a silicone-based, semi-flowable paste designed for electrical insulation applications. Its unique rheology allows for easy application by hand, brush, or wipe, effectively filling complex geometries. Shear thinning behavior enhances its flow characteristics, making it suitable for applications requiring penetration into intricate spaces.
The compound provides excellent dielectric strength and electrical insulation, coupled with good adhesion to various substrates including metals, elastomers, polymers, and ceramics. Its semi-flowable nature, combined with low volatility and good oxidation stability, ensures reliable performance across a wide temperature range (-54 C to 200 C), offering superior moisture and water repellency. The product is certified to NSF 51 and 61, meets 21 CFR 175.30, and is Kosher Pareve and Halal certified; it also meets AMS8660 Tables 1-4.
