MOLYKOTE 3400A Anti-Friction Coating LF is a heat-cure dry lubricant formulated for metal-to-metal contact situations experiencing slow to medium-fast speeds and medium to heavy loads. This coating delivers exceptional lubrication and corrosion protection, while also exhibiting strong solvent resistance and a high load-carrying capacity. Its formulation is notably free of PTFE and PFAS. The coating adheres strongly to metal substrates and consistently maintains a low coefficient of friction.
Application involves thorough degreasing of surfaces prior to coating application. MOLYKOTE 3400A Anti-Friction Coating LF can be applied via spraying, dipping, painting, or centrifuging, potentially utilizing MOLYKOTE L13 Thinner to adjust viscosity. A uniform, thin coating (10-15 m for typical applications) is recommended, followed by a 30-minute cure at 200 C (392 F).
