MOLYKOTE 41 Extreme High Temperature Bearing Grease is a specialized silicone grease formulated to withstand temperatures exceeding the capabilities of standard silicone greases. Its superior thermal and oxidation resistance, coupled with water resistance, makes it ideal for demanding applications where extreme heat is a factor. The grease is free of PTFE and PFAS, and its composition consists of silicone oil, carbon black, and a corrosion inhibitor, ensuring reliable performance and minimizing environmental concerns.
Application is straightforward, involving cleaning the target area and applying the grease using a brush, spatula, or automated lubrication system. While effective in a wide range of high-temperature industrial settings, it's important to note that this grease is not suitable for painted surfaces or steel bearings operating under high loads. The product maintains usability for 60 months from its production date if stored unopened in a cool, dark environment.
