Chemtronics Konform SR-X Silicone Conformal Coating
Chemtronics Konform SR-X is a single-component, fast-drying silicone conformal coating designed to protect electronic assemblies from harsh environmental conditions. This flexible, transparent coating provides excellent insulation, and protects against moisture, corrosion, fungus, and thermal shock. It is ideal for use on printed circuit boards, components, and other electronic devices.
To apply Konform SR-X, ensure the surface is clean and dry. Apply the coating evenly using a brush, spray, or dip method. Allow the coating to air dry for 10-20 minutes, or heat cure at 65°C (150°F) for faster drying. Multiple coats may be applied for increased protection. Konform SR-X is easily removed with appropriate Chemtronics solvents for rework or repair. It maintains its properties over a wide temperature range and provides long-lasting protection. The coating is UL 94 V-0 certified for flame retardancy, adding an extra layer of safety to your electronic assemblies.
