Lamart SW-100
Lamart SW-100 is engineered for the wire and cable industry, suitable for moisture barrier and pressure sensitive binding tape projects, particularly in cableshield applications, where no heat is required to obtain a seal. It consists of a 0.00092" polyester film and a 0.00025" acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive.
The laminated tape is designed for applications such as pressure sensitive binding tape and moisture barrier tape, eliminating the need for heat to achieve a seal. It has a thickness of 0.0012 inch +/- 10% (ASTM-D-3652), a breaking strength of 22 lbs./inch of width (ASTM-D-882), a tensile strength of 16,923 p.s.i. (ASTM-D-882), and an elongation at break of 69 % (ASTM-D-882). The tape is clear in color with other colors available. It weighs 1.26 oz./sq.yd. +/- 10% and yields 12.6 sq.yds./lb. +/- 10%. The peel strength, adhesion to stainless steel, is 12 oz./inch of width (ASTM-D-1000). The shelf life is 1 year when stored under conditions of 70 degrees F (21 degrees C) and 50% RH.
