Lamart HC-501
Lamart HC-501 is a versatile HVAC/R foam tape designed for various applications. This black tape features an aggressive acrylic adhesive and is engineered to resist extreme temperatures and moisture, making it ideal for wrapping both hot and cold pipes, fittings, and tubing. Its primary function is to prevent condensation and minimize heat gain or loss, ensuring efficient temperature control in HVAC/R systems. Additionally, it effectively prevents frost formation on chilled water refrigeration tubing, enhancing the longevity and performance of the equipment.
To apply, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any contaminants. Apply the tape with firm pressure, using a plastic squeegee to ensure good adhesion and a smooth finish. The substrate is made of EPDM foam with a solvent acrylic adhesive and a 40-lb Kraft liner.
