Lamart 520-L
Lamart 520-L is a 2 mil aluminum foil coated on one side with acrylic adhesive, providing an economical solution for joining and sealing laminated fiberglass blankets, ducts, joints, and seams for both rigid and flexible constructions. This pressure-sensitive product is engineered to meet specific application requirements.
Lamart 520-L tape should be applied to a clean, dry surface when the surface temperature is between 50F and 105F (10C and 40C). Its dead soft aluminum foil backing is highly conformable to irregular and curved surfaces, offering excellent resistance to dust, dirt, and water/vapor transmission. The aggressive acrylic adhesive ensures excellent adhesion and shear characteristics, particularly in HVAC applications. The highly reflective aluminum surface, combined with a service temperature range of -40F to 350F (-40C to 177C), makes this tape suitable for a broad range of environments. With a shelf life of 1 year when stored under conditions of 70 degrees F (21 degrees C) and 50% R.H., this tape is ideal for various industrial and HVAC applications.
