Lamart 218L
Lamart 218L is an 8 mil aluminum foil coated on one side with acrylic PSA and supplied on a release liner. It is a heavy-duty foil used in critical barrier requirements, particularly for vinyl-coated wires in the appliance industry, and is suitable when a heavier gauge foil is required.
This pressure-sensitive product is engineered to your specifications, featuring a construction of 0.008" aluminum backing, 0.0015" acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a densified Kraft interliner. It functions as a heavy-duty moisture vapor barrier tape, effectively blocking out moisture, reflecting heat and light, dampening vibrations, and serving as a thermal spreading mechanism with insulated wire heating devices.
