Lamart 215-L
Lamart 215-L is a mechanical fastener designed to hold wires and cooling coils in appliances. It can also be used when a general-purpose 2 mil foil is needed. It is a dead soft aluminum foil tape perfect for moisture/vapor barrier and heat reflective applications. Useful for sealing out dust and dirt for underground cable and duct sealing applications.
The product consists of a 0.0018" Aluminum backing, Acrylic adhesive, and a Densified Kraft interliner. This dead soft aluminum foil is highly conformable to both irregular and curved surfaces, and offers excellent resistance to water and vapor transmission. Its aggressive acrylic PS adhesive is designed to offer excellent quick stick and ultimate adhesion. The highly reflective surface makes this tape ideal for under hood, wire harness applications. The liner allows the tape to be die cut into shapes, and the tape can be made printable for label applications.
