Lamart 213-L Aluminum Tape
Lamart 213-L Aluminum Tape is a 3 mil dead soft aluminum foil coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive and supplied on a release liner. This tape is designed for applications requiring exceptional chemical resistance, such as masking sensitive parts and securing protective drapes on aircraft during paint stripping processes. It is effective as a moisture/vapor barrier and is particularly useful for heat reflective applications. The tape can be die cut into shapes and made printable for label applications.
The tape should be applied to clean, dry surfaces. Its dead soft aluminum foil backing conforms to irregular and curved surfaces, providing excellent resistance to water vapor transmission. The aggressive acrylic adhesive ensures quick stick and ultimate adhesion. It is ideal for sealing out dust and dirt for underground cable and duct sealing, wire harness applications, and spreading heat in flexible cables.
