Callington Pre-Spray Aircraft Insecticide – Non-flammable aerosol insecticide for aircraft disinsection prior to passenger boarding.

Callington Pre-Spray Aircraft Insecticide is a non-flammable aerosol insecticide approved for use in aircraft cabins before passenger embarkation. Its primary purpose is to prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases such as Dengue Fever, Yellow Fever, Malaria, Chikungunya, and Zika. The product is also effective against various agricultural pests that pose biosecurity risks, meeting World Health Organization specifications for aircraft insecticides.

Application involves spraying the empty aircraft cabin before passengers board, typically at the last port of call before the destination. The aircraft's air conditioning must be turned off during application. The insecticide should be sprayed from the rear of the aircraft moving forward, targeting overhead lockers, ceilings, galleys, lavatories, crew rest areas, and the flight deck. Maintain an arm's length distance from the can and ensure all overhead and sidewall lockers are open during the process.

Aircraft approved Callington Pre-Spray effectively kills mosquitoes and other flying or crawling insects. It is used for either Pre-embarkation or Pre-flight spraying methods in accordance with respective national Quarantine regulations.

Callington Pre-Spray contains a non-flammable propellant and the World Health Organisation recommended active substance of 2% w/w permethrin. Pre-flight spraying is mandatory for all flights into many countries of the world including Australia and New Zealand. Tested and approved to Boeing, Douglas & AMS Specifications
