Aerosafe – Non-flammable aerosol insecticide for aircraft cabin use before takeoff and upon arrival to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases and other pests.

Aerosafe Aircraft Insecticide is a non-flammable aerosol designed for pre-departure and on-arrival application in aircraft cabins. Its formulation, containing 2% w/w d-phenothrin (as recommended by the World Health Organization), effectively eliminates mosquitoes and other flying and crawling insects. This helps prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as Dengue Fever, Yellow Fever, Malaria, Chikungunya, and Zika, and also mitigates risks to agricultural industries from exotic pests. The insecticide uses a non-flammable propellant for safety.

Application involves spraying the cabin after passenger boarding (pre-departure) or upon arrival, following national quarantine regulations. Specific instructions involve turning off or adjusting the air conditioning and using recirculation fans while spraying from the back to the front of the aircraft, directing the spray towards the ceiling and open overhead lockers to avoid direct contact with passengers.

Aircraft approved Callington Aerosafe effectively kills mosquitoes and other flying and crawling insects. It is to be carried out inside the cabin for 'Pre-departure' or 'On-arrival' spraying methods in accordance with respective national Quarantine regulations.
