Chemlok 8116-1 Adhesive
One-coat, water-based adhesive for bonding peroxide-cured elastomers
Chemlok 8116-1 is a single-component, water-based adhesive designed for the vulcanization and bonding of peroxide-cured elastomers to various rigid substrates, including zinc-phosphatized steel. Its excellent resistance to hot oils, water, and other engine fluids makes it ideal for applications demanding high thermal and chemical stability. The adhesive is particularly well-suited for the manufacturing of gaskets, seals, and NVH components in automotive and other industrial settings.
