Solvent-based adhesive for bonding fluoroelastomers to metal
Chemlok 5150 is a solvent-based adhesive designed to bond uncured fluoroelastomers to metal substrates. It's also effective in bonding fluoroelastomers with integrated cure systems to mechanically prepared or phosphatized metals, commonly used in dynamic seal manufacturing. This adhesive exhibits strong adhesion to various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and brass, making it versatile for a range of applications. The low viscosity ensures ease of application, and its formulation provides good resistance to various fluids, including reference fuel C and No. 2 diesel fuel.
