Chemlok 481/Curative 44 Adhesive
Two-component adhesive system for bonding TPEs to metals
Chemlok 481/Curative 44 is a two-component adhesive system primarily used for bonding thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) to metal substrates, particularly during injection molding processes. Its versatility extends to fabricating hoses designed for use with liquids within a temperature range of 54-65 C (130-150 F). The system is designed for ease of application and requires only a single coat for most applications, enhancing efficiency and reducing material consumption. For more demanding applications or harsh environments, a primer (Chemlok 205) can be applied beforehand to improve adhesion and durability.
