Chemlok 205A Primer
Versatile adhesive primer for rubber-to-metal bonding
Chemlok 205A is a high-performance primer designed to enhance the adhesion of various vulcanized and unvulcanized rubber compounds to metal and other rigid substrates. It acts as a crucial intermediary layer between the rubber and the substrate, ensuring a strong, durable bond that resists environmental degradation. This modification of Chemlok 205 adhesive primer is formulated with a blend of polymers, organic compounds, and mineral fillers, all dissolved or dispersed within a predominantly ketone solvent system. Beyond its priming function, Chemlok 205A also serves as a standalone, single-coat adhesive for certain nitrile rubber compounds.
