Chemlok EP6897-61 Adhesive
One-coat adhesive for bonding urethane elastomers to metal
Chemlok EP6897-61 is a versatile, one-coat adhesive designed to create strong bonds between castable and RIM urethane elastomers and metal substrates. Its formulation, a blend of polymers and curatives dissolved in an organic solvent, delivers superior adhesion exceeding the tear strength of the urethane itself. The adhesive is compatible with a wide range of polyether and polyester castable urethanes, regardless of hardness, and those based on TDI or MDI.
