Features and Specifications
High temperature, silicone masking tape designed for clean removal from a variety of surfaces such as anodized aluminum, titanium, magnesium and various copper-brass alloys common to the aerospace industry. Formulated for water-based and high slip mold release agents, its unique silicone adhesive system performs well on release-coated (low energy) surfaces commonly found in the fiberglass and composites manufacturing (i.e. boats, spas, turbine blades, etc.) and other hard-to-bond-to surfaces such as rubber moldings. Can resist exposure to UV up to 72 hours. Temperature resistant to 180°C (356°F) for 30 (twice) or 60 minutes (once). Times / temperatures are determined by surface, coatings and removal conditions.

For masking of mold-release coated surfaces, ‘anti-fouling’ coatings, powder coating and wave soldering. Not recommended for holding/securing large and/or kraft masking aprons. Recommend warm removal after oven, but can be removed cold. Although the cross-linked silicone adhesive will not contaminate areas adjacent to where the tape has been applied, it is good practice to thoroughly clean the surfaces after the tape has been removed.
