FASTBLOCK®401 Type 2 by TA Aerospace is a low-density, moldable thermal insulation for application on aircraft hydraulic hoses and many other complex geometries. This compound can also be used as thermal insulation on clamp cushions, seals, o-rings, grommets, and gaskets in select configurations. FASTBLOCK® 401 can be combined with fiberglass, ceramic fiber, or stainless steel, polyimide film, and many other materials to make removable heat shields for existing structures. Reduce installation costs by reducing fasteners, part count, and installation time. This is a one-part organic peroxide-cured fluorosilicone rubber compound. FASTBLOCK® 401 has an excellent service temperature range of -60° to +150°C (-76° to +302°F). Product available in pre-molded shapes.
