Momentive Siltrust RTV11 silicone rubber compound is a versatile, ready-to-use, two-part silicone elastomer ideal for a wide range of applications. Supplied as a base compound with dibutyl tin dilaurate (DBT) curing agent, it offers a convenient and efficient solution for creating durable, resilient silicone rubber parts. Its room temperature cure eliminates the need for specialized equipment, while its solvent-free composition ensures ease of handling and a lack of unpleasant odors. The RTV11 compound exhibits excellent adhesion (with primer), release properties, and maintains its elastomeric characteristics across a broad temperature range, from -54 C (-65 F) to 204 C (400 F) continuously, and up to 260 C (500 F) for shorter durations. FDA compliance allows for use in food contact applications (excluding contact with acidic foods). Work time and cure rate are adjustable by altering the amount of curing agent used.
