Momentive SnapSil RTV162 is a one-component, ready-to-use, electronic-grade silicone sealant that cures at room temperature into a tough, resilient silicone rubber upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. This versatile sealant is ideal for various applications requiring excellent electrical insulation, moisture resistance, and durability in extreme temperature conditions. Its non-corrosive nature makes it perfectly suitable for use with electronic metals such as copper and brass. The low-odor cure process, releasing only alcohol vapor, ensures a clean and efficient application. RTV162 excels in maintaining its elastomeric properties over a wide temperature range, from -60 C (-75 F) to 205 C (400 F) for extended periods and up to 260 C (500 F) for shorter durations.
