Momentive Siltrust RTV21/DBT Silicone Rubber Compound

Momentive Siltrust RTV21/DBT is a pink silicone rubber offering a balance of performance and ease of use, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Its room-temperature cure eliminates the need for specialized equipment, while its solvent-free composition ensures a clean and odorless working environment. The RTV21 compound exhibits excellent adhesion (with primer), release properties, and maintains its elastomeric properties over a broad temperature range, from -54 C (-65 F) to 204 C (400 F) continuously, and up to 260 C (500 F) for short durations. Its FDA compliance allows for use in food contact applications (excluding contact with acidic foods). While DBT is the standard curing agent, alternative catalysts are available for customized cure times and applications. This kit provides a convenient and efficient solution for various sealing, molding, and potting needs.
