Momentive SnapSil RTV167 adhesive sealant is a high-strength, one-component, ready-to-use electronic-grade silicone sealant that cures at room temperature upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. This gray, paste-like sealant transforms into a tough, resilient silicone rubber, providing excellent adhesion and durability in demanding applications. Its key benefits include superior resistance to moisture, dust, dirt, UV radiation, ozone, and various chemicals, along with excellent electrical insulation properties. RTV167 is non-corrosive to electronic metals such as copper and brass and boasts a low-odor cure, emitting only alcohol vapor. It maintains its elastomeric properties over a wide temperature range, from -60 C (-75 F) to 205 C (400 F) for extended periods, and even withstands short-term exposure up to 260 C (500 F). This makes it ideal for various industrial and electronic applications where robust sealing and bonding are critical.
