As a flow regulator, it is designed for improved air flow performance which helps reduce system pressure losses. Its high-contrast analog pressure gauge and textured control knob helps painters dial in the price pressure to optimize their work — helping reduce overspray and material consumption. The gauge is clearly marked at 20 psi (1.4 bar) and 29 psi (2.0 bar), the standard pressures for 3M Performance Spray Gun HVLP and Fine Finish nozzles respectively.
